Current Research

I am working on a project to identify members of the family Symbiodiniaceae,  through ITS2 amplicon sequencing, in Montipora digifata that were bleached. This is project is part of my PhD and it is part of a larger effort to try to understand if Montipora digifata symbiont type shuffling can be transgenerationally inherited in response to thermal stress.
